My second time staying at Santa Isabel.  Love this place & the folks who own it and/or work there.  Good breakfast.  Bus stop right outside the door if you want to go to "town". Walking to the Mirador for fantastic views of the Alhambra is very close. We took advantage of the Moorish House tour they provide with Lola guiding us - very interesting.

A wonderful hotel in a great location. Turn left out of the door and Mirador de San Nicolás is 100 m away, turn right and there is a lovely plaza with some nice bars and restaurants. Also near the hotel is a bus stop where the buses do circular routes to Granada centre and Alhambra.
Hotel building is 16/17th century based around an open courtyard. Room was very nicely decorated in a traditional style and has everything you could need. breakfast was very good, not an 'All inclusive' style mass of beans and sausages but a nicely selected array of fresh local, and in some case homemade, delights. Id recommend trying the homemade marmalade.
When we arrived we were giving fantastic information on the local area and how to get around.

Me quede 2 noches en el hotel y me encanto,! atención personalizada, mucha información sobre los puntos de interés, donde comer.
Todo esta muy limpio, el desayuno es variado, muchas opciones caseras y todo hecho con mucho cariño, se nota.

When the time comes for us to enter Paradise, should God in His kindness so permit, I suspect our first lodging will be at the Santa Isabel la Real Hotel. Ingo was amazingly welcoming, spent 20 minutes showing us all the must see places in town and great recommendations for restaurants. We had to leave very early in the morning so he arranged a taxi and even packed us a picnic since we would miss the breakfast! Highly recommend
